hey there- found you though a comment on XBOXs blog. You are funny! I wish I would have known about the jeweler tip a while back. I broke a pair of rimmless glasses that were very expensive. It was a pain and expensive to get them replaced. I will have to pass this on.

Serious props to your wife for biting her tongue on this one. I am sure it was incredibly hard. There is the high road, and then there is the really high super bonus points high road… nice view up there.

This made me think of the “nice” furniture we bought when we moved into our house…our $$ tables have been chewed up by our teething puppy-er-baby Joey..Adam is upset, but I knew once we had kids, funiture gets ruined. I really don’t care, but I guess we get better get a trunk for a coffee table when we get different ones..lol

reminds me of the time when hubs left his glasses on the couch. I sat on them. Said glasses break, and he gets all grumpy with me because I didn’t look on the couch (that should have been glasses free) before I sat down.

Let’s just say…long story short….hubs was back pedaling and apologizing for implying that the size of my ass would crush and injury anything in its path.

“That soooo isn’t what I meant, Honey….I love your a$$!”

Oh right, glad you’re glasses are fixed.

The jeweler tip is excellent. As for dead-bolting that door, I am so glad you did. I can remember as a child wiping spaghetti sauce off of my hands onto my mom’s kitchen towels. I didn’t do it on purpose, I just misunderstood what she had told me to do. She burst into tears and her fit of anger and crying said “I can never have anything nice”. That phrase haunted me my whole life. I have had those feelings as a parent, myself, but I will never ever say that to my children if I can help it.
