I will never forget our incident with a whole unpeeled apple. Scary. Glad it turned out okay.

And I too an a ketchup conniisseur. Eggs included. It totally grosses my husband out.

Choking is very scary. So is the use of ketchup on anything other than french fries. Personally, I don’t even like it on fries, but it’s okay if other people eat it that way, as long as they’re not too close to me.

Choking episodes always freak me out too. It’s good to hear and see he has such a nice appetite. In the last week or so, our son has started eating a lot more. I’m thinking he may be over 20 pounds finally.
About your sandbox, I’ve never seen anything like that. My husband wants to actually make the sandbox too, so this is a good idea. Thanks.

You should teach him the arms up! Whenever kael is gagging/choking on food all we say is “arms up” and as soon as he raises his arms that usually will dislodge anything he is choking on.

What a cutie.
Ben used to shove the ENTIRE banana in his mouth at once (when he was big enough for us not to cut it). We’d turn around to throw away the peel and it would be gone!
